Ido Samuel Selected as Jury Member for the 2026 HollyShorts Film Festival
Ido Samuel has been selected to serve as a Jury Member for the 2026 HollyShorts Film Festival, one of Los Angeles’ premier showcases for short-form cinema.
Ido joins an impressive international jury of acclaimed actors, filmmakers, producers, and industry professionals, including Alan Tudyk, Alfre Woodard, Andrew Rannells, Kelly Marie Tran, Rita Ora, Katheryn Winnick, David Cross, Judy Greer, Marina Sirtis, Radhika Apte, Sibel Kekilli, and Academy Award-winning producers Guneet Monga Kapoor and Kim Magnusson, among others.
As a juror, Ido was part of the team evaluating the festival’s official selections across its competition categories and recognizing outstanding filmmakers and storytellers from around the world.
The 22nd annual HollyShorts Film Festival took place August 13–23, 2026, at TCL Chinese Theatres and venues throughout Hollywood. The festival is Academy Awards® qualifying and BAFTA qualifying, with winners in several top categories becoming eligible for Oscar consideration.
For Ido, the opportunity represents a natural extension of his own work in independent film and his longstanding involvement with short-form storytelling. With more than 50 acclaimed short films among his credits, he brings extensive experience on both sides of the filmmaking process to the jury.
“I’m honored to be part of the HollyShorts jury and to have the opportunity to discover and celebrate filmmakers and new voices from around the world.”
